Dallochy Joinery project is a new build constructed in 2017 on a sloped site where a derelict gamekeepers cottage once stood, the site was cleared and cottage demolished. The stone was set aside for re-use, concrete slab and galvanised steel stilts were used on the lower half to elevate the house out of the ground making the most of the countryside views; corrugated roof, slate, Scottish larch cladding and existing stone were used to make it sympathetic to its surroundings, Rationel alu-clad windows and doors were installed, Icynene insulation, MVHR system and Eco-Dan ASHP to make it as efficient as possible.
